Cross-ply birch, sealed and left natural.

We build the board from cross-ply natural birch: layered, cross-directional grain that stays flatter than solid wood in a humid bathroom. It's sealed with an OSMO VOC- and solvent-free, food-grade finish, and left unstained so the grain shows through. It's real wood, so it picks up character over time, the way good wood does.
